I come bearing exciting news. All pledges (minus those with hardcover artbooks, wall art, & failed payments) have officially been shipped to you!

You can expect to receive your little hoards in the next week or two. Wall art should arrive within the next week or two and will ship as soon as I have them in hand, as well as I will be finishing the art book in the next week or two and ordering the proof for review ^_^.

I just wanted to take a quick moment to thank all of you for your support. It really means the world to me knowing I have the priveledge to create something I love while simultaneously helping support my family. And I couldn't do it with out you. You are my heroes. And I appreciate each and everyone of you!

On to more exciting news, all my past backers have received a private invitation to my derpy dragon campaign this morning, and it funded before I even woke up!

I absolutely love the derpy dragon pins, and art. They have been a ray of sunlight and laughter (mostly giggling to myself as I draw them). And I can't wait for the official launch of what I believe will be the best campaign yet!

I come bearing happy news, and some super important news.

First, the happy news, today the first 100 packages of pins will ship out to backers 🥰. And a few of you have already received your pins!

Yesterday was a productive day. My kids all helped sort, add stickers, and label the packages. (Though my son didn't want to be in a picture 😅)

This was my desk after filling in addresses to Canada post...106 down, 138 to go... 

Tomorrow I tackle the next 100... Wish me luck 😅.

Failed cards - there's about 30 of you with failed cards. Please double check if you need to update or change your card. I won't ship your order until the shipping has gone through. Also, if you are in Europe (Italy specifically) there seems to be authentication issues with cards. Please see if yours is affected.

✨Duplicate celestial pins - there were 34 of you with duplicate celestial pins (celestial + collab pin are the same.) I have emailed those I caught, but only received updated pins from 7 of you. I will only delay sending these until I finish the next batch of packages tomorrow. So please let me know if you need a different design or are happy with duplicates! Check your email/junk folder if you added the celestial pin as your pledge as well as qualified for the pintopia collab pin. This will be my last update regarding this. After Thursday, I'll assume you wanted to order 2 copies of the same pin.

Wall art orders - wall art has been ordered, but won't arrive until the first week of July. So I'll ship those orders then.

Art books - I was able to get my files from my one drive, I still want to illustrate one or two more dragons for the book. If all goes to plan I hope to do it next week. And format the book in the first week of July. I'll order the proof (a 3-4 week process) and once I am certain everything looks awesome, I'll order the art books. (This means I won't be able to ship them until September at the earliest. It's only 1 month behind my original plan, but still, I apologize for the possible delay.

Other than shipping and waiting, things are going well. And we are 2 months ahead of schedule. Most packages should arrive in the next 1-3 weeks 🥰.


It's less than 2 weeks before Derpy Dragons launch on Backerkit!

Fulfillment is going well and as I am packing the orders I have come across a peculiar thing.

MANY of you ordered the celestial dragon pin, eventhough you are getting the cross collaborative pin. (Which is the celestial pin!)

I knew this was a popular design. But part of me wonders if those who selected it was aware it was already in their carts as the cross-collaboration pintopia pin. 

If this is correct, then awesome nothing needs to be done. If you didn't realize they were the same, please email me at [email protected] with the design you want me to switch to and your full name so I can find you. (Don't comment here as I don't get notified of comments)

I will manually change your order. However, as these packages are trapped amongst the 100 other packages I just did, I will only wait until Monday to receive a change request. After that I will send your order as is. 

I have managed to sort over 100 of your pledges into the mailers so far. Starting with 3D pin tiers & working on single and double pin tiers. 

As payments are processed I will start shipping in batches starting next week when I should start to receive funds from Backerkit. 

As I process your orders I will be charging cards. With the exception of orders with the Hardcover artbook. I am holding off charging shipping until I have submitted the artbook to the printer and received my sample. I don't have an exact date on this yet. But could be 3-6weeks. 

Orders with wall art & tea dragon postcards: your prints have been ordered, and will arrive here the 1st week of July. So your orders will ship in July as well. 

At the moment there's several failed charges. Please confirm that the credit card on file is up to date. Backerkit will automatically re-attempt to charge in 48 hrs. 

I will only ship packages with successful payments. 

I realized that the pins I uploaded yesterday was tiny, so here's a closer look. 

I can't believe how well they all turned out 😍🥰. And seeing them in person makes me even more excited for the next campaigns. 

I'll be continuing to sort & package orders this week and next. And manually charging cards as I go. For this reason, I can't tell you the exact date. But know that the process has started. And ideally I hope to get most done by early next week. And get your shiny hoard to you ASAP!

Overall we are about 2 months ahead of schedule! I didn't think I'd be able to ship these until August. And yet I am over half way done in a single day!

I just got my computer back, I have yet to install everything as it was factory reset. But, the tech is positive he was able to back up my files! So fingers crossed 🤞🏼 everything is there.
 
Between fulfillment and packaging I'll finish the art book and order the proof over the next few weeks. I'll see if I can squeeze in a Derpy dragon or two between my commissions.

Speaking of derpy dragons, I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who followed the campaign 😍🥰.

Greetings Hoarders,

I have wonderful news! All the pins arrived today 🥰. And I couldn't be happier! 

Check them out! 

They're like little miniature art pieces 🥰😍.

Now that they are here it's time to start sorting them into your pledges. I'll be starting with the 3D dragons and single pin tiers with no add ons as they will be easiest.

With everything here, I will start mailing in batches, in fact the first pins have already been sent!

I am going to start charging cards over the next 24-48 hrs. And addresses will get locked at the same time.


The only addresses I am not locking are hardcover artbooks. If everything goes well I hope to have most packages shipped by the end of next week 🥰.

It sometimes happen that cards fail. So please ensure your cards are up to date. Backerkit has a tendency to store old cards (I know this because it happens to me all the time that it selects an old card instead of my new one). I will only ship your items once I receive payment for shipping. 

These also turned out really well!

PS: My computer is in dire straits and may not be fully recovered. And I rely on it to not only make my aer, but support my family. So I decided that for the next few campaigns I will open up custom commissions with commercial lisence to backers in order to raise the $7k I need to buy both the new computer and Wacom. (Currently I use the Wacom mobile studio pro, but to replace it I have to update my desktop as my c rrent one can't run Photoshop & get the drawing tablet). If you know anyone who commissions artists and who would enjoy my style, please share these campaigns with them. 🥰

I just wanted to stop in with a few quick updates about the campaign. 

All orders have now been locked and I will start charging shipping and add-ons in the coming days. 

Pins are scheduled to arrive on the 15th this week! I'll share another update with photos once they come in as I am certain you are as eager to see them as I am. 

As soon as they are here I plan to start sorting and shipping them in batches right away. 

Please make sure your correct address is in the pledge manager as I will lock them when I charge cards this week!

😢Other important news for those who purchased art books:😢

Sadly, my art computer died on Friday😭. It is currently at the computer doctor and I hope to hear the result of their diagnosis by tomorrow and are hopeful they can recover my files if not the machine 🤞🏼.

What this means for the art book:
I can access all the finished illustrations because they were saved to the cloud on Photoshop, but unfortunately the WIP art is only saved on that computer. So if it's not able to get resurrected, that means I will need to create more art so I can add the step by step section I promised.

Also, my desktop has a tendency to corrupt my .psd files when I try to illustrate on it. (It's ancient)
Which means I will have to buy a new computer and drawing tablet...which as you can imagine as a specialized equipment isn't cheap. (It will come to about $6k+ to completely replace my tools) Nor quickly acquired.

Unfortunately, this might delay the hardcover artbook by a few weeks or as much as a month or two as I try to find alternative ways to illustrate. But for transparency sake, I wanted you to know. (Softcovers are unaffected)

I promise that the art book will make it's way to you. And it will be the best it can be. But I can no longer promise a swift delivery. For this reason I won't charge shipping on those with the hardcover art book add-ons yet.

Which brings me to my solution and call for help.

I was already planning to run the derpy dragons campaign next month, and luckily all the art has already been sent to my manufacturer. But more than ever, I need that campaign to be big so I can replace my computer. 

In fact my newest design couldn't be more appropriate in this case:


These derpy dragons really are my life mottos 😅. And I think that between the side quest one and "Living life in hard mode" it pretty much sums me up.

But this side quest has become my main quest as I fight for my career as an artist the only way I can: by making more art.

So if you love derpy dragons, please consider supporting the next campaign. Not only will I have these designs as pins, but I am considering hoodies & t-shirts with them as well as art prints.
